Roasted Chestnuts Stall

Ask our chestnut vendor to fire up his coals (or gas) and roast some delicious chestnuts and caramelised nuts! During the months of November, December and January chestnuts become available and the roast chestnut vendor applies his trade from his chestnut stand.

Roasting chestnuts on an open fire is a wonderful seasonal delight – not only is it a visual presence but the aroma of the chestnuts and the chestnut shells burning over the fire, entices people to draw close to the cart, engaging in social chit chat, whilst tasting (sometimes for the first time) the hot roasted chestnuts straight from the fire.
