Sezincote is unique. At the heart of a traditional, family-run estate covering 4,500 acres of rolling Cotswold countryside stands a 200-year-old Mogul Indian palace, set in a romantic landscape of temples, grottoes, waterfalls and canals reminiscent of the Taj Mahal.
Vsitors are welcomed to the house and garden at the set opening times, and a very few special weddings are hosted every summer — which is why we knew from the first moments of enquiry that this wedding was going to be something quite special.
Lara and Kostas planned a beautiful and romantic day, with a ceremony in the Orangery surrounded by fresh flowers and foliage, followed by the drinks reception on the lawn, overlooking the grounds.
Roaming bands usually go down a treat at drinks receptions and this wedding was no exception. Strolling Vagabonds, who are also a favourite at gigs in Wembley Stadium made sure that the couple and their guests were entertained throughout the afternoon with some eclectic reggae-style covers of pop songs at the request of the bride and groom.
The musical brief for the entire day was clear: no cheesy music allowed! Which is why the evening entertainment was provided by one of the slickest, coolest bands on our roster — the internationally toured showband TRIBUTE.
With 3 singers and a roaming saxophonist, the band made sure that the guests were up and dancing throughout their entire set.
The 9 piece band's setlist was packed full of funk, soul and pop classics. Bringing their signature flair, TRIBUTE made their 90-minute set feel like a headline show at a world-class festival!
It was a beautiful day in a beautiful setting and we are so glad to have contributed to Lara and Kostas' big day!
Congratulations to the happy couple!
