Corporate Reception at the Sky Gardens

Following an international finance conference, a London-based financial advice firm hired out the Sky Gardens for a corporate reception and dinner.

The walkie talkie’s top floor features a restaurant and event space, which boasts high ceilings and lush greenery, creating a tropical paradise in the middle of the concrete jungle and offering guests some absolutely stunning view of the London skyline.

Guests were invited for a black tie reception, followed by dinner overlooking the city. The restaurant team created a sophisticated and elegant setup,dressing the table with emerald coloured napkins to accentuate the surrounding greenery and simple black and chrome tableware to reflect the clean lines of the space.

As a long time collaborator and preferred entertainment supplier of the company, we were asked to supply some of our best entertainers for this event to truly make this a night to remember.

There are certain specific types of entertainment that always goes down a treat with a corporate crowd — magicians, caricaturists and musicians — and for this event, we made sure that they got the best of the best.

Our top caricaturist David Ellis — whose worked with us at events for Google and Banks Sadler before — was on site to amaze guests with his entertaining yet flattering caricatures, creating fun little mementos for guests to take hom with them.

Elsewhere, other guests had a chance to have their minds blown by top magician Greg Thompson who performs a mind-bending mix of close-up magic and illusion, digital tricks using guests’ smartphones and even mind reading.

The clients also selected a jazz band to provide sophisticated background music throughout the evening.

Our pro photographer Martin was also on site for the night to capture every moment of the evening, from setup through guest arrival to last call.
