Unlike most bands whose members come and go, The Corvettes have managed to retain their core band of top session players for 9 years, notching up over 250 corporate, charity and wedding gigs in the process. They have come together for one common musical purpose – to play the music they love to people that love the music.

Namely, the raw funk of James Brown, the horn-heavy punch and swing of the Stax label, the melodic magic of Motown. The set is rounded off with Rock’n’Roll favourites and a fillet of the modern era’s finest party tunes. There are no smooth edges here, no cheese; just funky and fine: how it is supposed to be.
