Three of London’s finest musicians, one enchanting sound.Saudade perform Latin jazz, Brazilian Bossa nova and Samba inspired music as either atmospheric or upbeat entertainment. They can also cover more contemporary songs with a Latin twist.They are available to hire as a duo of guitar and voice or a trio, accompanied by a Spanish cajon player and can even offer roaming performances.

Saudade are Brazilian Bossa nova specialists but perform a range of Latin and Samba music by artists such as:

  • Buena Visita Social Club

  • Cuban Dámaso Pérez Prado

  • Clara Nunes

  • Marisa Monte

  • Carlos Lyra

  • Sergio Mendes

They also arrange modern songs in a samba style by artists such as:

  • Pharrell

Lineup

Saudade most often appear as a trio but can reduce to a guitar and vocal duo or expand and feature any number of musicians to create a lively latin band.

Equipment

The band can provide a PA system suitable for background music at events of up to 150 people. When space is tight and guest numbers are under 100 they can trim down to two very subtle amplifiers.
